Training for the Family Caregiver

Caring for a loved one at home is challenging and rewarding. Often, families are overwhelmed trying to "figure it out" without training or knowledge on best practices to keep themselves and their loved ones safe at home.

We offer individual and small group classes for family caregivers to learn and practice safe transfer and ambulation techniques, as well as support group sessions for those who need a safe place to talk and learn from others with similar experiences.

An illness at home is stressful. Allow Skills4Care to help your family. We all need a little extra help at times.

Prevent Injury

The most common injuries caregivers experience are to the back, neck and shoulders. Proper lifting and transfer techniques help prevent injuries and falls and allow caring to be safe at home.
